Perhaps something using karma, but again I think many people misunderstand this word. 气质 qizhi I am looking for a translation in the context of certain undefinable qualities that a man finds attractive in a woman. "a predestined affinity" (e.g,. ...to meet) is a fair dictionary definition, but no one speakes that way. "Fated to meet" sounds too romantic for many contexts.
