Bronze Horse Signed With Old Chinese Script - Help Translate Please

I would like to get this marking translated so I can learn more about the piece. I was told by somebody that it's old Chinese script.

Any help with translation would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to figure out who made it and how old it is.

It says "善赐", kind gift.

Thank you very much for your help. Forgive my ignorance but when I look at the characters you pasted (善赐); they don't seem to match up with the photos I took.

Not all the symbols seem to be present. Am I missing something?
