When tried posting a thread, not only does it not show up on the forum itself(waiting to be approved), it also does not show up on any of my personal(private) locations indicating whether it is waiting approval or not. The least i should be able to see is the post waiting approval showing on my profile, PM page, notification page, or at least something! If the post got lost i would have to retype the entire thread again... 2. I cannot PM anyone as a new member...not even the admins/moderators. Shouldn't new members be given a little leeway to seek help thru PMing the moderators? roddy Posted November 21, 2012 at 11:18 PM Report Share Posted November 21, 2012 at 11:18 PM Might be useful for new members to be able to see their unapproved posts, but I don't think we're going to do it - we'd have to code it in ourselves, and nobody is new for very long. Basically, your posts either appear within 24 hours (and often much quicker) or you can assume it got deleted (like just happened to your other "please approve my post" post ;-) ) As for PM's - to be honest we don't want new members pm'ing admins for help.
