chengdude Posted November 12, 2003 at 04:02 PM Report Share Posted November 12, 2003 at 04:02 PM Listening to the two live songs at the end of (Faith) Yang Nai Wen's first album ONE, I was reminded of one very late night in China with no one but the TV for company when I channel-surfed across a Yang Nai Wen live show being broadcast on Channel V. This was at the time her album SILENCE was out (although almost impossible to find where I was...most people had never heard of her) and I remember being rather stunned that a Chinese female performer had such a powerful sound...in no small part thanks to the talents of her band. So, do the music experts here know if there is a recorded legacy of her ONE/SILENCE era? My guess if there is, it probably exists through file-sharing rather than an actual live CD, but any and all insights will be welcome.
