Part of the application is an essay, and since it's been so long, I'm worried it might have some elementary mistakes that don't reflect where my knowledge was at it's peak. I picked out a few sentences that I'm worried may be faulty: 我很高兴不过一度搬家, 因为做新朋友得不太常常. I'm very glad we only moved once because I didn't have to make new friends too often. 聊天得容易. -chat very easily. Is that the right 'de'? 他对他的同学不喜欢. He towards his classmates did not like (them). He didn't like his classmates 我认为很多中国人会说英文，但是我期望他们说中文对我. I feel like many Chinese people can speak English, but I wish for them to speak Chinese to me. 我跟三个朋友一同会住在一个公寓. I will live in an apartment with three friends. Is 一同 or 一起 better?
