skylee Posted March 2, 2005 at 12:41 PM Report Share Posted March 2, 2005 at 12:41 PM Before the Korean wave, we used to watch Japanese TV dramas. Now it is difficult to even get a copy of the new dramas in HK. But I have managed to buy a set of "Orange Days" (橙色歲月) and really enjoyed it. 清新, 精緻, 雋永, 不老套, 很好看. Do you watch Japanese TV series? Ian_Lee Posted March 7, 2006 at 01:17 AM Report Share Posted March 7, 2006 at 01:17 AM Skylee: I have watched "Orange Days" but quit it half the way. I could not stand the actress who is so self-centered even though she cannot speak. Actually I prefer some Japanese youth movies like the five diving youths and the female schoolgirl Jazz Band (can't exactly recall both titles). Ian_Lee Posted March 17, 2006 at 02:20 AM Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 at 02:20 AM Just watched the NHK 2-hour made for TV movie "Kaze No Bon Kara". Ghost story combined with father-daughter love. Strongly recommended. The background music is superb.
