Tomas Tomas Posted May 15, 2013 at 06:08 PM Report Share Posted May 15, 2013 at 06:08 PM I remember finding such a list a long time ago but now I can't find it.... Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Ruben von Zwack Posted May 15, 2013 at 07:34 PM Report Share Posted May 15, 2013 at 07:34 PM downloaded this just the other day from the official Hanban website, hope it's what you're looking for! Tomas Tomas Posted May 15, 2013 at 08:58 PM Author Report Share Posted May 15, 2013 at 08:58 PM Sorry, this doesn't look like it is it. What I'm looking for is a list of hanzi that ARE on the HSK 6 list but ARE NOT in the James Heisig books. I think it's around 150 characters. Ruben von Zwack Posted May 15, 2013 at 09:55 PM Report Share Posted May 15, 2013 at 09:55 PM oh I see, I misunderstood. Did you see this? http://www.plecoforums.com/threads/new-hsk-level-1-6-for-heisigs-remembering-simplified-hanzi.3185/ There's this "extra vocabulary" at the end of the list (I had a quick look in a text editor), could it be what you meant? lechuan Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:05 AM Report Share Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:05 AM Please note, the above-mentioned list on Pleco is for the 2009 New HSK List. I will be updating it when I have some time to regenerate from the 2012 New HSK list.
Tomas Tomas Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:09 AM Author Report Share Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:09 AM How do I get a list from this .txt file of just the non-Heisig characters?
lechuan Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:32 AM Report Share Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:32 AM It's in the section called "//New HSK (Heisig)/Extra_Characters", scroll to the end of the file.
Tomas Tomas Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:37 AM Author Report Share Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:37 AM OK I isolated that list but unfortunately the Chinese parts show up as gibberish letters... I am on Mac OS X, not sure why it's showing up like that as I do have Chinese input installed
icebear Posted May 16, 2013 at 02:02 AM Report Share Posted May 16, 2013 at 02:02 AM Change your encoding - not on a Mac at the moment so I can't confirm which, but there is a menu option in the text editor to change encoding - try a few of the Chinese ones...
