laolee Posted March 17, 2005 at 03:12 PM Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 at 03:12 PM Fei Mu who directed SPRING IN A SMALL TOWN the recently designated #1 Chinese film by the HKFAA also directed 狼山喋血 (Mount Langshan Bleeds ?) which costarred Lan Pin, later Jiang Qing/Madam Mao. That film and 都市风光 (City Dawn?) are both available on vcd and I wonder: Has anyone here viewed them? How are they? How was Lan Pin as an actress? I was surprised to find them released as I thought I had read that in later years she successfully had all her films destroyed. Glad to discover that they were not.
