I am looking for both real Chinese books and books for foreigners learning Chinese. Please, oh Beijing residents, tell me where to seek. roddy Posted April 10, 2005 at 10:44 AM Report Share Posted April 10, 2005 at 10:44 AM There's two large bookstores on Wangfujing, the cleverly named Wangfujing Bookstore, and the Foreign Languages Bookstore. There's also a new place called (I think) Scholars Books on one of the top floors of the mall opposite the Foreign Languages Bookstore. If there's anything you can't find there, you're going to need to head to Book City in Xidan. The two main ones on Wangfujing have fairly good Chinese learning sections.
