This person suggested that when going go BLCU that the best route would be to get an apartment close to BLCU and possibly share it with a native Chinese. The problem that was rasied was that if I went this route then BLCU would not be my Guarantor and thus be a problem for getting a student visa. Does anyone know the in's and out's of this? If you don't want to stay on campus will there be a problem with the student visa? In a related question, how are the dorms at BLCU? I am interested in bringing my laptop and was concerned about security. I surely don't want to be carrying it around with me all the time. Also, my camera, same issue.
