Question: is there an equivalent to Chinesepod for Chinese native speakers willing to learn English?

Hi everyone,

I have a few Chinese friends willing to improve their English but they are busy with work... So I always tell them the best way is to use a podcast whenver you have time.

Is there any podcast subscription page where Chinese native speakers can find different podcasts depending on their language level and where the beginner levels combine both Mandarin and English?

 

I am basically looking for Chinesepod but the opposite way...

Chinese teachers at my school listen to the BBC a lot - both their dedicated 'learning english' section and just generally.

 

They also use IELTS / TOFEL listening materials (found easily by searching - free and to buy them).

 

The British council also has materials available.

thanks for the responses!! Let me give a try to englishpod, it does have chinese translations which I think it is a must for my friends since they are far from proficient in the language

once they develop better listening skils I think they can move to other resources like the podcasts from british council...
