But I think more importantly, what are you looking for in the school? Is it to learn simplified or traditional characters? Hanyu pinyin or ㄅㄆㄇㄈ? Mandarin or Cantonese? For example, New York Chinese School (http://www.nychineseschool.org) teaches traditional characters, and has classes both in Mandarin and Cantonese.
