FinancialWar Posted December 7, 2014 at 04:17 AM Report Share Posted December 7, 2014 at 04:17 AM I was under the impression you get 10 minute reading time, they you keep that original text and you write a summary in 35 minutes, but they took away the text after 10 minutes, and since I know how to write only 500 something characters, I really screwed it up. Shelley Posted December 7, 2014 at 02:47 PM Report Share Posted December 7, 2014 at 02:47 PM If you only know 500 characters, do you think HSK6 might have been to high a level to aim at? I thought the required number for HSK6 was a lot more.
FinancialWar Posted December 8, 2014 at 06:08 AM Author Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 at 06:08 AM Errr No, that's wasn't my question was it? Any one else has more a productive response?
Sydney Matt Posted December 8, 2014 at 10:27 AM Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 at 10:27 AM I don't mean to be rude, but what *is* your question? Yes, as you discovered, they do take the text away. Which, admittedly, means this section of the test is as much about memory as it is about writing.
