Workers of the world: how much spare-time study?

I have found it to be incredibly difficult to reach a balance between working, studying for my post-baccalaureate classes, lifting weights, and studying Chinese. While I do have about 20 hours of total free time throughout the week, I feel like I'm wasting time if choose to study Chinese rather than study for my classes, especially since I don't plan on making a career out of Chinese anymore. At the same time, I can feel my Chinese abilities erroding away as each day passes that I go without studying the language. Then I begin feeling as if I have wasted the many years that I spent learning and re-learning the language. :wall It's a vicious cycle.

Not sure whether that's realistic, depending on your level, perhaps you could try reading in Chinese about the same topics as your classes. I've done that with moderate success on topics related to my work.

I don't try to learn new things this way, but it serves as a review of things I've recently learnt in English or French. Plus I'm getting familiar with Chinese vocabulary related to my job.
