I am interested in playing at any music festivals there. Does anyone have any advise on how to find out what´s happening, so that I can apply in advance? niubi Posted December 13, 2003 at 05:37 AM Report Share Posted December 13, 2003 at 05:37 AM the main indie festival in china has become the MIDI (a private music school in beijing) music festival. which typically is held during may, though this year it was held during october due to SARS. a new festival starting up is the new year's eve mini-festival in guangzhou. there is a music festival attached to the qingdao beer festival - i forgot when that is. also there are other music things tied to city/provincial annual tourism events.
