I am not sure about the story of 陽春水. 陽春麵 is plain noodles only with spring onion. 陽春水 comes from idiom 陽春三月，Chinese think water is still very cold in march of traditional Chinese calendar, so woman's housework in this season is regarded a damage to their hand/finger beauty.
