Looking for a job as an English teacher in Beijing

Hi, I am looking for a job as an English Teacher in Beijing, but on a six months contract, not for a whole year. I have a Master of Arts degree, teaching experience with high school students and I will come with a TEFL certificate. Does anyone have any tips or ideas where in Beijing I could apply? Any schools, companies or agencies which hire English teachers in Beijing also for six months?

Are you a native speaker? Do you have two years experience? (or can you stretch it so you do?) Are you over 25?

These are some requirements you'll need to meet in Beijin for a legitimate job. Of course, you can find jobs still ... but generally if you tick those boxes it will be easier for you.

As for a 6 month contract, many schools are reluctant. They have to pay for your visa/expert status processing so would prefer to get 12 months work out of you. Also, parents / students get pretty annoyed at changing teachers every 6 months.

Why Beijing? You'd probably stand more chance finding a 6 month contract in a less popular area. I worked for Aston English when I first came to China and they offer 6 month contracts I believe. They don't operate in BJ though.
