Well, indeed I have.

I set out intending to do a lot of things.

I achieved some and I failed some.

Main reason is that I changed my mind and I will not participate in the summer camp.

Haha

List of accomplishments

1. Finished 중국어는 뻔한 패턴의 반복이다 고급 (Chinese language is a repetition of predictable patterns advanced level)

2. Finished 드라마 중국어 회화 핵심패턴 233 (Drama Chinese core conversational patterns 233).

This means I finished mining sentences from the above book and learned and reviewed what I didn't know before using Anki.

3.  Common Chinese Patterns 330

My Chinese friend is working hard typing out the sentences for me.

The most recent draft I got her from contains the sentences upto Pattern #160.

So, I gave a listen to all the recordings spoken in Chinese on this website last week. To my delight surprise, I now understand a lot more and almost feel that the audios on this website are too easy. I will consider that I am finished with whatever I was intending on doing with this website.

5.

People who produce these also recently made an app. I paid $15 right away to download all the dialogues that I could onto my phone and started listening to them constantly. I am done. I am bored with them now.

Things I did not do

1.  University of Iowa Reading World http://collections.u..._beginning.html.

2. Shadowing is no longer done. However, speaking-wise, I talk in Chinese quite frequently with my best friend who is Chinese.

Nope. For now, I am doing the quizz on http://m.wordbook.naver.com/cndic/main.nhn

It has pre-made quiz for all the HSK levels.

I am working through level 5 vocabs now.

The purpose here is not to really "learn" the vocabs by quizzing myself here, but to expose myself with more and more vocabs that's new to me.

As an aside, I took the HSK vocab quiz for levels 1-4 on there in one afternoon. Previously, I was mainly using stuff written in English to study Chinese.

As I was taking the quiz, it was fun making the connections between the correct answer choices written in Korean, its pronounciation, and the Chinese words.

I will be done with level 5 vocabs in several days.

Then, I plan on "somehow" trying to go through that My Chinese Picture Dictionary thing.

Then, I will figure out what to do with chengyu.
