Anyway, for anyone interested, I was in the New Oriental test prep center in Chengdu today and they gave me the following for 1-on-1 classes: 450rmb an hour for AP Calculus (400 if you buy in bulk) 600-650rmb an hour for SAT Reading (I assume based on the teacher) You can get class prices on the internet but for 1-on-1 you have to ask in person. A lot of this fee is going to be based on the New Oriental reputation (which is worth s**t if you ask me) but it would seem that if you put in some work, develop a good network and reputation, you can clean up doing this kind of thing...
