Need an opinion on Chinese for Beginners: Mastering Conversational Chinese

I am considering getting this textbook, but I do want to see if anyone here has encountered this book, and how your experience with it went. It is not such an expensive book, which is good, since, as a teenager, money can be a limited resource, and I don't want to spend it all in one place. I haven't found a negative review for it yet. I really want a textbook that systematically goes through all, or most, of the grammar for mandarin as well. Any suggestions on that? Thanks so much! Hopefully soon I will know enough to answer other's questions, rather than ask so many.

Only books I have used is new practical Chinese readers and really recommend them. There is web versions available that I use on my phone when I can't take out the book.

Pimsluer audio is available through your local library and great for sentance structure

I second the use of New Practical Chinese Reader, there are some good topics on these forums about it, have a search around.

It covers grammar, vocabulary, characters and it has audio files for listening and videos to help understand the dialogues.

It also has 6 books in the set which will cover 2-3 years study.
