I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any good, reputable private language schools in either Qingdao or Tianjin? I want to study Mandarin, but not really interested in going to Beijing, Shanghai, or HK. I'm also curious about any additional info about either of these cities, like cost of living, nightlife, etc. For what it's worth, I'd be open to any suggestions on other big cities in China that would be good for studying Mandarin and the reasons why they would be a good choice. btw, I hope to avoid anyplace either extremely hot, or numbingly cold.
