aninventivename Posted July 6, 2005 at 03:35 AM Report Share Posted July 6, 2005 at 03:35 AM Hi, Does anyone out there have any idea how to find a Notary in China. Please keep in mind if it entails speaking in Chinese I need to have it written down. At the moment I am trying to find one so that I can get a criminal history check (wei tuo shu) written. I need this for my girlfriends spouse visa as she lived here for over a year. No she is not chinese. I have asked the teachers here at this school and noone has any idea, at all of what i am talking about. I am really frustrated by this at the moment and time is running out. If anyone can help please do. Thanks TREVOR

aninventivename Posted July 8, 2005 at 01:53 AM Author Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 at 01:53 AM Thanks for the advice. Sorry I guess that i forgot to mention that I am in Huludao City, Liaoning. Anyhow I managed to find it and they told me that it is going to 600 yuan for 2. Expensive I think. Does anyone have experience with getting a Notorized Police Clearance Check. If so what price did they charge you for it? Thanks
smalldog Posted July 8, 2005 at 12:14 PM Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 at 12:14 PM Official prices for Liaoning here: http://www.cnnotary.cn/Notary/module/bzzn/sfbz.asp Seems like what you want is in section 2.1. In that case should only be 50-80 yuan.
aninventivename Posted July 11, 2005 at 12:29 AM Author Report Share Posted July 11, 2005 at 12:29 AM Thanks for that, I think that when I go there today I will be armed with this information. I just hate it when they try to ripe me off with everything simply because i am not chinese. Just because I come from another country does not make me rich, and i need the money for my wedding. Thanks anyway
