I know they can be hard to come by. Anyhow, I was offered a job in Lijiang which I had to turn down because I've already accepted another job. Lijiang is a gorgeous city and I think it would be an awesome place to work, but I'm bound for Kunming. I did tell the school I'd try and give them some other prospects, so if anyone is interested in teaching English at a teacher's college in Lijiang starting around the 20th of Feb., PM me and I'll put you in touch with the right people. The last time (1996) I was in Lijiang I met a lot of interesting people and had a very nice time. Now I will leave for China at the 28th, and still have not decided where ( university nor town) to take a language course. Does this school offer Chinese courses for foreigners ?
