I have been learning Chinese in traditional writing for several months. However I hardly find that needed textbook series in Hanoi but for the simplified ones, so I had to use the simplified textbook then tranform into traditional writing for my studying. I think Integrated Chinese will cover more material. The DeFrancis textbooks are in Traditional, but they are so old I would only view them as supplementary material at this point.
