Learning Pinyin and listening Chinese Mandarin

Hello!

My name is Dat Nguyen and I want to learn Chinese Mandarin. One of my goals is to have a basic conversation with a native speaker in Chinese Mandarin, because it's one of my dreams to go to China. I hope I can find someone to talk with me in Chinese on Skype. I think, that is a good way to start a conversation. In the past I learned basic Chinese, but at that time I was not ready to learn Chinese Mandarin. Now, I feel good and want the language and culture.

I also follow the Zen Buddhism with Martial Arts. I practice Kickboxing, boxing and fitness in the Netherlands. I also did Wushu and Kung Fu, but I truly miss the sparring and the fighting in essence. I hope anybody has some good tips for me?
