There are no limitations when it comes to where the show was produced, or the nationality of the artists, e.g. if it is a dissident artist who gave up one passport for a second one. Same with the language. I would prefer to see shows in Mandarin, but it can be any language, I expect to see a lot of English and Cantonese. What other Sinic languages, apart from Cantonese and Mandarin, are used when producing original content? How about non-Sinitic languages? Tibetan seems to be popular these days. Cultural appropriation? Open to all languages. Criteria: TV; good; popular in Mainland China/PRC/中国人民共和国 In short: What do all the cool kids from China watch?
