The annual salary is 1,20,000 RMB. I am planning to move there with my wife. I wish to know the cost of living and the standard life at places near Tsinghua university. A one bed apartment is about 5k to 6k looking at the estate agents advertising's. Of course you will find cheaper and much more expensive. 120k a year is 10k a month. Realistically it's certainly liveable but a bit of a frugal lifestyle. Use apps like JingDong to buy groceries. It can be much cheaper, especially for western style goods. Edit: as regards taxes, you need to ask your employer. China sometimes has an usual system of quoting salaries AFTER all tax is deducted.
