Learn Chinese in China

Looking for 批发市场

Recommended Posts

I am looking for wholesale markets in Beijing for stationery, for ebikes, for flowers and one for pets (especially fish).  The ones I used to go to are no longer there.  I heard that they moved them all out of 3rd ring road to reduce truck traffic in the center of the city.  Are there any resource that list these?

These sorts of markets are very hard to find because, as you said, they keep moving further out. You can sometimes find online listings, but there's no guaranty they're up-to-date.

I've found the best approach is asking in some local shops dealing in the stuff you want. They usually know. But always best to ask at least three places. Then average the answers.
