I was wondering if there is much of a English-speaking community there? I have been living in New Zealand for the past 15 years and although i can speak Mandarin fluently, it would be nice to meet some others who speak English and just friends in general as i will know no one apart from some family. I am 40 minutes out of Harbin, so not a lot to do where I am but the city is OK. The good thing is it is small by Chinese standards and the cost of living is lower compared to the top tier cities.
