Hey all jack here! This summer I am going to be spending 3 weeks in Xiamen China! So as if currently I have no idea what I should lol. But that is why I am asking you guys! So when I first get their what do you guys recommend for food fun activity’s tourist spots ext. thanks a lot!

Learn and train how to play badminton with a coach. It's a fun activity, cheap, can get you fit, really popular with locals and the coaches don't speak English. Plenty of immersion in Chinese.

As for more standard tourist things, do some research about a trip to see the Tulou round houses a couple hours away.

Everyone goes to Gulangyu Island. Read up on that and see if it appeals.

The Fujian coast in general is a great place for fresh seafood. Xiamen is no exception. Learn how to order several kinds of fish and several kinds of other, non-fish, seafood items such as shrimp, crabs, and bivalve shellfish (molluscs.) You will need a few preparation terms such as steamed, boiled, and fried.
