However, was planning to visit LiJiang from Kunming. Does anyone know if it is possible to book bus tickets in advance? if so how? Otherwise what are people's experiences of travelling during holiday time. Will we be able to buy bus tickets from Kunming to Lijiang and Lijiang to Kuming just by turning up at the bus station on the day we want to travel?
