nipponman Posted August 19, 2005 at 01:03 PM Report Share Posted August 19, 2005 at 01:03 PM Hey, I found this character test website from the link somebody posted on this board. Anyway, I think this is the best character proficiency test I've found so far, it tests in tradtional and simplified, and has definitions and pinyin together, here's the link http://www.clavisinica.com/chartest.html. The problem is it is a little too easy. Because they show you the pronunciation in pinyin, instead of asking you to write it, you can guess on some of them and throw off the results. But finally, a test that tests both pronunciation and meaning, have fun! nipponman P.s. I tested on the most difficult level, 48 character test, and got ***12/12 **11/12 *12/12 9/12 (The asteriks represent frequency level) and the test therefore says I know approx. 3171 characters:clap I didn't know 榷 though:roll:
