jannesan Posted September 25, 2019 at 03:13 PM Report Share Posted September 25, 2019 at 03:13 PM As was discussed in the other thread (https://www.chinese-forums.com/forums/topic/58933-also-sharing-pleco-character-frequency-dictionary/) it would be helpful to see which HSK level a certain word belongs to when looking it up in Pleco. So I created another user dictionary for this, where for multi-character words the corresponding HSK level is shown and for single characters the earliest HSK level with a word containing this character is shown. The HSK lists were taken from: http://www.hskhsk.com/word-lists.html To add this dictionary to your Pleco download the hsk.pgb, open Pleco - Settings - Manage Dictionaries - Add, select EXISTING and select the hsk.pgb file on your phone. When clicking an entry in the DICT tab it will show an HSK level if the word is in the HSK lists. hsk.pqb
jannesan Posted September 25, 2019 at 03:45 PM Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2019 at 03:45 PM if you're only looking for HSK levels of words, then it is better just to install the premade HSK lists and create tags for them as described here: https://www.chinese-forums.com/forums/topic/58933-also-sharing-pleco-character-frequency-dictionary/?do=findComment&comment=458923
ZhuoMing Posted September 25, 2019 at 07:26 PM Report Share Posted September 25, 2019 at 07:26 PM Pleco can already display HSK levels without a dictionary, via the tagging feature.
salio Posted December 31, 2020 at 10:50 AM Report Share Posted December 31, 2020 at 10:50 AM This is useful as I use Anki with Pleco I can't seem to tag with the built-in Pleco feature. Put there are some duplicate entries. Can you help me remove them please ? For a given character there will be one entry with pinyin and one without pinyin. Is this intended ?
