Together, they write songs and that is an interest/hobby of theirs. Then recently he asked me if there were any music producers in China who were willing to accept their songs and have some pop singer sing them and publish them. He said they would do it for free for a while because it is only an interest and he didn't plan to make money off it, at least for the time being. I had absolutely no idea as I do not live in China.
