I have a document that is in Chinese. Are there any tools that I can enter a Chinese character and then a translation is given. How do I enter the Chinese character. Wenlin is probably the commercial product with the best dictionary, it lacks a lot of proper names though. If you want something free and extensible, you can always try http://www.adsotrans.com. The software is available for free download, although it does not come with a graphical user interface and you need to be able to compile it yourself.
