It was a list where Chinese learners and Chinese educators will discuss about different topics of Chinese language and Chinese linguistics back in 1999. I lost contact and never heard from them. Don't think there was any particular movement from there to here. EDIT: The only poster here who's ever seemed to mention that list is @xianu, who hasn't posted since 2013.
