lep Posted August 7, 2020 at 12:45 PM Report Share Posted August 7, 2020 at 12:45 PM Hi there! I'm looking to acquire this bowl, but trying to understand if the writings are of maybe a poem or more ritualistic, because of the constellations depictions I can determine it should be in the taoist universe. Sorry about the not so good photo, but like I said, I just want to try to know the nature of the content. Best wishes! Thanks in advance! New Members JCBS Posted April 9, 2021 at 05:17 PM New Members Report Share Posted April 9, 2021 at 05:17 PM These heroes are called the "Table of Peerless Heroes" (WuShuangPu) and they always have a poem at their site. The translation of the poems (in English) of these heroes you can read in the book "The Beauty of Chinese porcelain, Symbolism and WuShuangPu" by Arno Jacobs, the same guy which has placed these heroes on the Gotheborg site. Kind regards, Arno
