Jim Posted December 31, 2020 at 07:10 PM Report Share Posted December 31, 2020 at 07:10 PM Looks to read 卅三年端阳悲鸿磐溪遣闷 then has a seal with the name of the famous artist Xu Beihong - he's referred to in the text which copies a line that appears in his signature on one of his paintings: http://www.xbhysg.com/plus/view.php?aid=50 but yours changes the date to Duanyang [Duanwu] Festival 1944 (assuming the year 33 is the 33rd year of the republic), the identical part reads "Beihong, in a bid to dispel boredom [to pass the time] while at Panxi." No idea if he used that turn of phrase to sign more than one picture.
