Struggle to identify these. Is it even Chinese?

I am happy to be here. I just started learning Chinese so I have decided to join this very active forum full of Chinese language lovers ?

 

I just watched a short movie which takes place in the future in unspecified place which is very futuristic looking Asia.

In one of the scenes, there is a fight between the mercenaries of which all have those Chinese (are they?) glyphs on their sleeves.

They do not talk so it is hard to identify their origins/background. I need to know who they are as I am also working on short movie reviews.

It is either Japanese or Chinese language but just like I mentioned before

I struggle to identify them. It is something of a challenge which I failed to complete.

Maybe you could? Pieces of advice and helping  materials are very welcomed.

Sorry for the quality of the screenshot but the video I watched was very poorly compressed.

I needed to adjust the exposure and contrast of it to make it more readable.

It's blury one but I think we can work it out somehow.

That doesn't look like Chinese to me, not even blurry Chinese.

So those are not even Chinese glyphs? That is strange. In that case I think we can close the topic.

Looks like the arm weapon of the character from The Predator series.

It looks like a strip of randomly distributed pixels to me. Or maybe a chopped up QR code.
