Kong Junrui Posted September 23, 2005 at 03:16 AM Report Share Posted September 23, 2005 at 03:16 AM I was wondering how one would say the names of notes on a staff in Chinese, such as A, B flat, C sharp, etc. I tried searching in the program WaKan, but I could only find these musical terms in Japanese, which is of no use to me. I'd assume they're just numbers followed by the word for note, for example if the word for note was 马, A would be 一马, B would be 二马, etc. Thanks. gougou Posted September 26, 2005 at 01:59 AM Report Share Posted September 26, 2005 at 01:59 AM I know that at least in the names of symphonies or the like (as in "Symphony in A major"), Latin letters are used in the Chinese name as well.
