Navigating the healthcare system in China can be headache-inducing, and that's why Female Health Empowerment Network (FHEN) exists. In 2019, founder Hillary van Mansfield realized that she, along with many other women, were having trouble gaining access to the healthcare they needed. In response, she started a group where women could share information about sexual and reproductive healthcare and FHEN exploded in membership from there. Today, it's a community where women from all over China can connect with each other and ask questions about their bodies in a safe, shame-free environment. FHEN also holds webinars with experts and professionals on many topics, including sleep, self-care, nutrition, suicide prevention, body image, etc.

 

Now, there are two new events coming up next month in January 2022 focusing on two issues that affect so many women: endometriosis and pms/pmdd.
