So far, I have been using smarthanzi app (desktop and ios), and zhongwen.com, which fit my needs as an intermediate learner. As I live and work in China, I have no pressure whatsoever in terms of reaching this or that level, and I self-study characters as a hobby, with the aforementioned apps and the use of mnemonics. I was wondering if investing in Pleco's add-on Outlier dictionary of characters would make sense, or if I'm fine going on with smarthanzi and zhongwen.com, in which case I would instead buy Pleco's bundle (or Grand Ricci).
