Translation/interpreting studies online?

Do you want to translate from Chinese to English? I believe that it is best for a native Chinese speaker and a native English speaker to cooperate. The job consists of two parts. First, you need to understand Chinese well. Second, you can write well in English. If you are a native English speaker, I can help you with the comprehension part.

I cannot find any Chinese to English (or German or Spanish) ONLINE course.

There is this one:

Translation in Practice Course (NJU) | Coursera

Taught by Nanjing University. You have to register with Coursera. It's for beginners but assumes knowledge of Mandarin. You can take the whole course with marked assignments, certificate, etc. for a fee (don't know how much is it now, it used to be fairly accessible), alternatively just follow the teaching sessions for free.

There is an OU branch of the Confucius Institute that runs events, lectures, book club etc in Eventbrite, and may also be organizing OU courses, but they have gone ominously quiet since last November.
