But airplane tickets from Holland to Taipei are so expensive, the cheapest I found was 1100 euro, while tickets to Beijing or Hongkong are only 500 to 600 euro. So I'm thinking, maybe I can buy a ticket Amsterdam-Hongkong and then in Hongkong get a ticket Hongkong-Taipei. I figure that should be cheaper. The best would be if I could arrange the HK-TP ticket in advance and have it sent to me, so that I don’t have to stay in Hongkong just to get my ticket (nothing against Hongkong, just that the place I want to go is Taipei). Does anyone know if this is doable? And what HK airlines or travel agencies could I contact to arrange a ticket? When I want domestic flight tickets (like between Sydney and Melbourne) I buy them on-line, cheap, fast and easy. You could check the CX website -> http://www.cathaypacific.com The price looks a bit high. Perhaps you should wait a bit and check regularly to see if there are any discounts. I searched the sites you mentioned, but Amsterdam-HK + HK-Taipei was about as expensive as A'dam-Taipei, so my idea didn't work. The fare was 920 Euros. I know you booked your tickets already (and possibly cheaper for the entire itinerary), but in the future you may want to check out EVA Air's website directly.
