Desmond Posted October 26, 2005 at 09:49 PM Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 at 09:49 PM This is a tile of a song from 蔡依林 entitled "睁一只眼闭一支眼" Seems easy enough, "open one eye, close one eye" except that they use the measure word 只 for the one eye and 支 for the closed eye (both pronounced zhi1). So is there a special meaning for it? Or a poetic one? Thanks!
Quest Posted October 26, 2005 at 10:43 PM Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 at 10:43 PM Can't think of any, are you sure that's not a typo?

gougou Posted October 27, 2005 at 01:49 AM Report Share Posted October 27, 2005 at 01:49 AM Should be a typo, baidu doesn't find any results the way you have written it, but plenty if both measure words are 只.
