niubi Posted January 8, 2004 at 04:14 AM Report Share Posted January 8, 2004 at 04:14 AM i'm in the market for a new region code free dvd player with built-in pal to ntsc conversion. anyone have any recommendations? i have a relatively cheap dvd player at present, cyberhome, but its beginning to fail on me. i'd like to get something with more longevity. the pioneer dv-563a seems interesting in that it also plays dvd-audio and sacd; i've very much wanted to give these audiophile digital audio formats a try. anyone have experience with the code-free modified version of this player?
