My girlfriend will be visiting me during the Chinese Winter holidays, and I thought it would be a nice idea to spend 10-15 days travelling. Beijing, Harbin, Dalian and Shandong Quingdao (were I work) were my first ideas, now for the question. Would you if in my shoes organize and travel by yourselves, or try to go in an organized tour? I've been here only 2 months and my chinese aint that great yet! Let me know your opinions, please! Besides, you can pick up tour guides in each city you go to. Other than that, it's going to force you to learn some Chinese, which is not a bad thing.
