hello there,

could someone help me finding the name of the Daoist temple in kunmimg, about which Colin A. Ronan wrote (in the seventies): "... the Taoist temple set in beauiful gardens at Kunming where, after ascending through the lower halls with their various images, one comes at last to an empty hall where there is nothing but a large tablet inscribed: Wan Wu Zhi Mu (the Mother of All Things)."

You probably mean:

Located on top of Mingfeng (Singing Phoenix) Hill is the home of the Taoist Taihe Palace (Hall of Supreme Harmony), which is the largest copper temple in China. It is also known as the Tongwa Temple (Bronze Tile Temple) and by its popular name, the Golden Temple.
