Time- Posted December 12, 2005 at 10:01 PM Report Share Posted December 12, 2005 at 10:01 PM Hi. I've heard of a book whose Chinese title is something like 'Memories of a fool'. Do you know if it has been translated into English, French or Italian? If not, can you tell me the name of the author and the Chinese title? Grazie mille (many thanks)! skylee Posted December 13, 2005 at 01:13 PM Report Share Posted December 13, 2005 at 01:13 PM a short poem by lu xun which he wrote after a friend of him comitted suicide by drowning himself. Take a look -> 哭范愛農 哀范君三章 把酒論天下,先生小酒人。 大圜猶酩酊,微醉合沉淪。 幽谷無窮夜,新宮自在春。 舊朋云散盡,余亦等輕塵。 I have doubts on the accuracy of some of the characters on these pages, like "茗艼" (which I think is wrong). But these are as good as what you can get on the internet without paying ... And here is the story -> 范愛農

oblo Posted December 13, 2005 at 02:03 PM Report Share Posted December 13, 2005 at 02:03 PM As far as I know there are some translation in italian of the story you mentioned. One is published by Acquarelli edizioni and another one is published by I Millenni. The latter is more expensive and includes other stories by Lv Xun. malinuo Posted December 13, 2005 at 10:03 PM Report Share Posted December 13, 2005 at 10:03 PM I bought it in Italy a few years ago to have something to read on the train. It was an edizione molto economica - just a few thousand lire at the time. My guess is that almost any bookshop would be able to get you a copy, but perhaps at a more expensive price.
