Liu Bang Posted January 1, 2006 at 01:31 AM Report Share Posted January 1, 2006 at 01:31 AM have you seen this wikipedia site?: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Chinese_proverbs I found a good book series for 成语 called "Pictorial Chinese Sayings" by Andre Loo. They are about $10 each and there are 8 total. They have mandarin and cantonese pronounciation, literal meaning, actual meaning, historical explantion and related vocabulary. I only have 2 volumes right now but I'm looking forward to getting the rest. http://www.silkroadpress.com/products/pictorial/
